Typhoon Season is from May to November.
 
Spring March to Mid May
 
Temperatures: 18 degrees C to 27 degrees C  Humidity around 80-82 percent.  Spring weather in Hong Kong is typically misty and damp.  Not great for outdoor activities.  It gets better towards the end of spring.  There are a few clear days with blue sky in spring.
 
March is the end of the winter and the beginning of Spring in Hong Kong so the weather is the damp.  In March, temperatures vary from 10C to 20C with some sunny days.  During most of the month misty weather is common continuing on into April. 
 
Summer mid May to late September
 
Temperatures: 26 degrees C to 33 degrees C  Humidity around 85-86 percent.  Summer weather normally starts in May.  It is hot enough for shorts and light shirts.   June is still hot, sunny and high humidity.  July and August are  hot with typhoon season in effect. August has bright sunny days with very high humidity. 
 
Autumn late September to early December 
 
Temperatures:  18 degrees C to 28 degrees C  Humidity about 80-82 percent.  The weather begins to cool a little in September, but can still be hot during the day.  By October,  continuing on through November expect fall weather.
 
Winter mid December to February
 
Temperataures:  14 Degrees C to 20 degrees C  Humidity about 70-72 percent.  December and January are cold by Hong Kong standards, although the temperatures do not usually go below freezing. Still a good time to be outside if you do not mind the cold weather. 
 
February is the coldest month in Hong Kong. There may be a few days where the temperature drops below freezing. It rains in early February but mostly light drizzle.  Very seldom will there be heavy rain.
