All the treasures of wisdom and knowledge are hid in Christ Jesus. These are the true riches
that abide forever. These riches are hidden in the word of God, which abides in us forever. Christ in us is our hope of glory
as Psalm 72:19 states, And blessed be his glorious name for ever: and let the whole earth be filled with
his glory; Amen, and Amen.
It is these true riches that give us power to handle earthly durable riches to accomplish God's will
in the earth, as stated II Corinthians 4:7, But we have this treasure in earthen vessels, that the excellency
of the power may be of God, and not of us.
It is God that gives us power to get wealth and He adds no sorrow with it. This power is within us and it
is wisdom and knowledge. It is hidden and must be revealed by the Holy Spirit. No man can receive anything except it be given
him from heaven.
Jesus said if we love Him, we will keep his commands, and He will make His abode in us and manifest Himself
to us. As we love Him and obey Him, His wisdom and knowledge shall be imparted unto us and will cause us to prosper in all
things. Everything that we set our hands to shall prosper. Wisdom has durable riches, honor and righteousness with her.
John 15:4 Abide in me, and I in you. As the branch cannot bear fruit of itself, except
it abide in the vine; no more can ye, except ye abide in me.
John 1 5:7 If ye abide in me, and my words abide in you, ye shall ask what ye will, and
it shall be done unto you.
When we include the poor and needy in our prayers, that God grant us the ability to provide for them, we get
His attention and He will do whatsoever we ask by faith in His name. When we live in His word and His word dwells in us, we
will know what to ask and He will know that when He grants our request it will be used according to His will.
Jesus is asking us the same question today that He asked Andrew, What seek ye? Andrew's answer was Where dwellest
thou? We need to know where to find Jesus. He can always be found doing His Father's business.
Jesus told us to seek first the kingdom of God and His righteousness and all the things that we need for this
life will be added to us. It is our job to seek and His job to add. Sometimes we try to do the adding by working our fingers
to the bones, so to speak. This is not God's will. Notice Psalm 127:1-2.
Except the LORD build the house, they labour in vain that build it: except the LORD keep the city, the watchman
waketh but in vain.
2 It is vain for you to rise up early, to sit up late, to eat the bread of sorrows: for so he
giveth his beloved sleep.
God does not want you to eat the bread of sorrows, working all hours of the day and night trying to provide
for your family. If you seek first His kingdom and His righteousness, all these things will be provided without eating the
bread of sorrows. God's wisdom and knowledge are all that you need. Proverbs says to seek these things more that gold and
silver because it is God's wisdom and knowledge that will add everything that could possibly be needed in this life.
If He did it for Abraham, He will do it for you. If you are God's child, you are in the same covenant that
brought Abraham to the place of being very rich with gold, silver, cattle, land and servants to oversee everything he possessed.
Your riches and eternal wealth have been established by Jesus and sealed by the Holy Spirit. They belong to you.
God said in His word, I will work and who will let it? You must allow God to work in and through you to be
your provider. If you try to provide for yourself, He will let you do it.
Isaiah 43:13 Yea, before the day was I am he; and there is none that can deliver out
of my hand: I will work, and who shall let it?
