A Jewish man under the prayer shawl is in the secret dwelling place of the Most High and is under His wings (on the prayer shawl), a place that he can he trust. He is in the shadow (under the prayer shawl) of the Most High (Psalm. 91:1-4).

The entire ninety-first Psalm is describing a man that is under the Jewish prayer shawl. He has no fear of destruction day or night. He is victorious in battle and no evil or plague shall come near his dwelling place while he is out fighting. He has the protection of God’s angels continually as he treads upon all of his enemies. He has the assurance that God will answer every prayer, deliver and honor him and show him his salvation. He has the right to a long satisfied life.

With the above in mind, let’s look at a scripture that talks about the clothing of the church today.

Isaiah 61:10 I will greatly rejoice in the LORD, my soul shall be joyful in my God; for he hath clothed me with the garments of salvation, he hath covered me with the robe of righteousness, as a bridegroom decketh himself with ornaments, and as a bride adorneth herself with her jewels.

In the past, the Church has not fully understood who we are. We are not the woman with the issue of blood, coming through the press to touch the clothes of Jesus, but we are, The Man In The Robe, with healing in our wings.

How can healing flow out of the body of Christ if most of the body is still sick, still going to doctors, still taking prescribed medication, still depending on the world’s way of healing.

But there are those in the body that are rising up with healing in our wings and saying as Jesus said when the woman touched His clothes, WHO TOUCHED ME, I PRECIEVE THAT POWER HAS FLOWED OUT OF ME. No sickness was in His body to flow out, only health. We are the Body of Christ in the earth today.

When we properly wear our robe of righteousness the healing power of God will be present to heal just as it was in Jesus. The world can come and touch our anointing and be healed, be saved, and be blessed with the blessing of God.

They must use their faith just as the woman with the issue of blood did. She heard of Jesus. When the world hears that Jesus is in His house and begin to say If I can just touch one of God’s people I will be healed. They will come and be ministered to. It will be easy for them to use their faith and receive.

How do we properly wear our robe of righteousness? We wear it healed and the blessing of God manifested in our lives. The sick cannot get a sick person healed, a broke person can not teach another broke person about prosperity. We must first be wearing the blessing in our own lives. We wear it according to Psalm 91, we enter into the secret place of the Most High, we abide in the shadow of the Almighty, we say of the Lord He is our refuge and fortress, My God and in Him do we trust. We are covered with His wings.

We have entered into our prayer closet (the prayer shawl). We are the house of prayer. There is no one under our prayer shawl, but us and God Almighty. We have driven out the moneychangers and all evil ways. We are called of all nations a house of prayer. I am not talking about the church buildings. I am talking about men and women under their prayer shawl everywhere we go.

Isaiah 56:7 Even them will I bring to my holy mountain, and make them joyful in my house of prayer: their burnt offerings and their sacrifices shall be accepted upon mine altar; for mine house shall be called an house of prayer for all people.

When we spend time under our prayer shawl, shut in with God, we can go forth as Jesus with healing in our wings. Notice the following scripture.

Matthew 14:35-36, And when the men of that place had knowledge of him, they sent out into all that country round about, and brought unto him all that were diseased; And besought him that they might only touch the hem of his garment: and as many as touched were made perfectly whole.

Any person, sinner or saint that has perceived that the anointing, the robe of righteousness, the prayer shawl is on any member of the Body of Christ, can come touch it and be make perfectly whole. For the scriptures stated that as many as touched the hem of His garment were made perfectly whole.

I am not talking about bringing people to church and getting them healed. We are the church walking through the land, as Jesus did. Any person that presses in and touches our garment of anointing will be make perfectly whole.

We are the Church of the Living God. We are The Man In The Robe walking. Where ever we go the anointing goes. Any person that perceives and sees our prayer shawl (anointing) can touch it and be healed, blessed and made every wit whole.

The Church is to carry on the calling of Jesus in the earth. We find out exactly that calling in Isaiah Chapters 61 and 62.

The Spirit of the Lord God is upon me (Jesus) because he has anointed me to:

  • Preach the gospel to the meek
  • To bind up the broken hearted
  • Proclaim liberty to the captives
  • Free those that are bound
  • Preach the acceptable year of the Lord
  • Preach the day of vengeance of the Lord
  • Comfort them that mourn
  • Appoint good things to Zion (The Church)

Verse 4 And they shall:

  • Build the old wastes
  • They shall raise up the former desolations of many generations
  • They shall repair the waste cities
  • Be named the Priests of the Lord
  • Be called the Ministers of God
  • Eat the riches of the Gentiles
  • Boast in the glory of the Gentiles
  • Have the Lord direct our work in truth
  • Have an everlasting covenant with God
  • Be known among the Gentiles as the seed that the Lord has blessed
  • Be clothed with the garments of salvation
  • Be covered with the robe of righteousness
  • Be married to Christ
  • Be God’s watchmen
  • Establish Jerusalem as a praise in the earth.
  • Prepare a way for people
  • Lift up a standard for the people
  • Be called the holy people, the redeemed of the Lord, Sought out and not forsaken
