The Joy Of The Lord Is Our Strength
If we are going to have victory in perilous times we must walk in the joy
that is inside us. Isaiah 53: 4 states that surly he (Jesus) bore our griefs and sorrows. He did not bare our temptations,
tests and trials, but he bore the grief and sorrow of them. We now can walk everyday in joy unspeakable and full of glory
right in the middle of them all with full assurance of deliverance.
James 1:2 states, My brethren, count it all joy when ye fall into
divers temptations; knowing this, that the trying of you faith worketh patience.
We are not to count it some joy, but all joy when we enter
into tests and trials for the name of Christ. When we exercise joy in the midst of weakness by an act of our faith, Jesus
gets involved and His strength is made perfect in us to endure all things. In II Corinthians 12:10 the Apostle Paul states,
Therefore I take pleasure in infirmities, in reproaches, in
necessities, in persecutions, in distresses for Christ’s sake: for when I am weak, then am I strong.
Paul got this revelation in the middle of a trial when Jesus spoke personally
to him. , II Corinthians 12:9, And he said unto me My grace is sufficient for thee: for my strength is made perfect in
weakness.
Paul said that he takes pleasure in infirmities. How do we take pleasure?
We take it like we take any thing we receive from God, we take it by faith. Faith always says and does the word. We take what
is already ours. We take what has already been given to us from God. James was saying the same thing when he said to count
it all joy. We take joy just like Abraham took righteousness. By Faith! Abraham was walking in righteousness thousands of
years before anyone else. We can use our faith and walk in complete peace and joy in the middle of tests and trials while
others are walking in fear and torment. Why? Surely Jesus bore our grief and carried our sorrow. This is how deliverance comes.
It comes when we are walking in joy of faith.
Victory comes when we celebrate the Lord. Isaiah 38:18-19 states,
For the grave cannot praise thee, death can not celebrate thee: they that go down into the pit cannot hope for thy
truth. The living, the living, he shall praise the…
The Hebrew meaning of celebrate is shine as light, praise, boast, be boastful,
to be praised, to be commended, to act madly like a mad man. One of the meanings of the word grave in the above scripture
is a place of exile without praise to God.
In these troubled times in order to walk in victory, it is important to only
go where our Lord Jesus is celebrated and to only go where you are celebrated because of Him.
Before Jesus left He made this statement concerning those that would not
receive Him. Luke 13:35, Behold, your house is left unto you desolate: and verily I say unto you, Ye shall not see me,
until the time come when ye shall say, Blessed is he that cometh in the name of the Lord.
If you desire God to manifest Himself in these perilous times of today, you
must celebrate Him like never before and separate yourself from those that choose not to praise Him. If the church you attend
is a grave, Get out! Find one that celebrates God and celebrates the ones that he sends. It is the living that praise God,
not the dead.
