Noah Is In The Ark
Mathew 24:37-39, But as the days of Noe were, so shall also the coming of
the Son of man be.
38 For as in the days that were before the flood they were eating and drinking,
marrying and giving in marriage, until the day that Noe entered into the ark,
39 And knew not until the flood came, and took them all away; so shall
also the coming of the Son of man be.
In Genesis chapters 6 and 7 God commanded Noah to build an ark, telling him
exactly how to build it and exactly what to bring into it.
God warned Noah exactly 7 days before the flood would begin. On the seventh
day it happened exactly the way God said it would.
Genesis 7:10-16, And
it came to pass after seven days, that the waters of the flood were upon the earth.
11 In the six hundredth year of Noah’s life, in the second month, the
seventeenth day of the month, the same day were all the fountains of the great deep broken up, and the windows of
heaven were opened.
12 And the rain was upon the earth forty days and forty nights.
13 In the selfsame day entered Noah, and Shem, and Ham, and Japheth,
the sons of Noah, and Noah’s wife, and the three wives of his sons with them, into the ark;
14 They, and every beast after his kind, and all the cattle after their kind,
and every creeping thing that creepeth upon the earth after his kind, and every fowl after his kind, every bird of every sort.
15 And they went in unto Noah into the ark, two and two of all flesh, wherein
is the breath of life.
16 And they that went in, went in male and female of all flesh, as God had
commanded him: and the LORD shut him in.
We see here that Noah first entered into the ark and then the animals and
all living things came in to him. God by his power led them in unto Noah before the flood came.
Today we are living in the time that Jesus was speaking about in Matthew
24:37-39. Noah has entered into the ark. Just before evil breaks out in this generation like no man has seen before,
blessings of provision are coming into the body of Christ to those who believe and enter into the ark. God is shutting us
in. We will ride on the high places of the earth above the evil waters below. Faith determines who will be in the waters
and who will be on the waters.
Jesus goes on in His teaching stating that two will be in the fields and
two will be grinding. One will be taken and the other left. The ark of protection is available to everyone through faith,
but not all will come. Only those who have a revelation and watch to make themselves ready will enter in.
The ones that are eating, drinking, giving in marriage, in other words, are
not watching, will be taken by the flood of evil that is surely coming. It is coming in the exact time and in the exact manner
the Bible speaks of.
In the days of Noah, no one had seen rain before it came. The enemy has plans
for this generation, which have not been seen before. The good news is that those that are in the ark of protection will ride
on the high places of the earth. It will push the ones in faith to a height that no other generation has gone before. Noah
rode 15 cubits above the highest mountain in his God sufficient ark. The flood pushed him there.
Isaiah 58:13-14, If thou turn away thy foot from the sabbath, from doing
thy pleasure on my holy day; and call the sabbath a delight, the holy of the LORD, honourable; and shalt honour him, not
doing thine own ways, nor finding thine own pleasure, nor speaking thine own words:
14 Then shalt thou delight thyself in the LORD; and I will cause thee
to ride upon the high places of the earth, and feed thee with the heritage of Jacob thy father: for the mouth of the LORD
hath spoken it.
In Noah’s day the ark not only was a place of protection but it was
also a place of provision.
Genesis 6:21-22, And take thou unto thee of all food that is eaten, and thou
shalt gather it to thee; and it shall be for food for thee, and for them.
22 Thus did Noah; according to all that God commanded him, so did he.
Not only did God provide everything needed while in the ark, He also provided
for them everything they would need to continue life after the flood. He provided them seed for everything and he provided
for them sacrifices to establish His covenant. God always provides Himself a sacrifice so man can come before Him.
Genesis 6:18, But with thee will I establish my covenant… Genesis 6:8 calls this grace. But Noah found grace in the
eyes of the Lord.
Verse 9 tells us why Noah found grace in the eyes of the Lord. Noah was
a just man and perfect in his generations, and Noah walked with God.
Jesus said in His teaching in Matthew Chapter 24 that it would be the same
in the last generation. He is coming back for a covenant people who love him and are ready for his return, to take us away
from the gross darkness that is upon the face of the earth. He said that except the days be shortened, none could be saved,
all flesh would perish.
We are living in perilous times. 2 Timothy 3:1 This know also,
that in the last days perilous times shall come.
In the year 2008, in which we now live, perilous times are here. According
to the Bible, things in the world are not going to get better, but grow worse.
The line of demarcation has been drawn, which is this. Galatians 6:7 Be
not deceived; God is not mocked: for whatsoever a man soweth, that shall he also reap.
God does not want any man deceived as to which side of the line he is standing.
A man’s actions declare whose side he is on. There will be many in the last days that have a form of godliness but denying
the power of godliness according to the Apostle Paul’s writings to Timothy.
2 Timothy 3:5 Having a form of godliness, but denying
the power thereof: from such turn away.
How do we deny the power of godliness? James 1:22-27 tells us. But be ye doers of the word, and not hearers only, deceiving your own selves.
23 For if any be a hearer of the word, and not a doer, he is like unto a
man beholding his natural face in a glass:
24 For he beholdeth himself, and goeth his way, and straightway forgetteth
what manner of man he was.
25 But whoso looketh into the perfect law of liberty, and continueth
therein, he being not a forgetful hearer, but a doer of the work, this man shall be blessed in his deed.
26 If any man among you seem to be religious, and bridleth not his tongue,
but deceiveth his own heart, this man’s religion is vain.
27 Pure religion and undefiled before God and the Father is this, To visit
the fatherless and widows in their affliction, and to keep himself unspotted from the world.
When we hear the word and act on what we have heard, the power of godliness
in manifested. God confirms the word that we speak and act upon. Thus not being deceived as to which side of the line we stand.
He that bridles not his own tongue deceives himself . No make can fix his
one tongue. The heart from which the tongue speaks must first be fixed and made unspotted by the word of God through confession
and obedience to the word.
Notice the comparisons between Noah, a perfect man who walked with God and
our instructions to look and continue to look into the perfect law of liberty to keep our hearts from being deceived. Noah
rode on the waters but those who were deceived were in the waters.
We are living in dangerous times. Notice what the Apostle Paul said to look
for and stay away from in this generation.
II Timothy 3:1-5, This know also, that in the last days perilous
times shall come.
2 For men shall be lovers of their own selves, covetous, boasters, proud,
blasphemers, disobedient to parents, unthankful, unholy,
3 Without natural affection, trucebreakers, false accusers, incontinent,
fierce, despisers of those that are good,
4 Traitors, heady, highminded, lovers of pleasures more than lovers of God;
- Having a form of godliness, but denying the power thereof: from such
turn away.
Just as it was in the days of Noah, before the flood, where evil had taken
over every heart, except Noah’s, Jesus said so shall it be in this generation before His return. People will be paying
no mind to God and the things of God until it is to late.
The just are entering the ark now. Soon the door will be shut where no man
can enter in. In Matthew Chapter 25, Jesus gave the parable of the ten virgins, five had sufficient oil and five did not.
The five that did not have sufficient oil went to buy and as they went, the bridegroom came and the five virgins with sufficient
oil went in to the marriage supper and the door was shut. Then came the other five virgins and said to the Lord, Open unto
us also, and He said unto them, I know you not.
Jesus gave many parables about His return and the message was the same,
Be ye also ready, Don’t get caught off guard. Don’t get caught lacking. Don’t get caught napping. Beware
of the sign of the times.
The sign of the times is this. There is coming an evil on this earth that
has never been seen before.
Matthew 24:21-22, For then shall be great tribulation, such as
was not since the beginning of the world to this time, no, nor ever shall be.
22 And except those days should be shortened, there should no flesh be saved:
but for the elect’s sake those days shall be shortened.
The just shall ride on the floods of it, we shall ride on the high places
of the earth, protected in God until the day he comes and takes us all away. Then all gates of evil will be let loose for
a season. The shaking has begun. When the shaking is finish, the only thing that will be standing is the kingdom of the just.
Faith has a voice. Christians must say and do the right things in order to
walk in victory in troubled times. We must continually speak God’s promises in the earth in these latter days.
