 The Story Of America

libertybell.jpg

This website discusses the real story  of America from humble  beginnings, following her development into the greatest nation on earth.  The founding fathers of America had the common thread that binds all Americans together, the unending thread of, freedom at all costs.  We will open the story of America in depth, as we study many of those who made America possible. This nation cannot live in the past, but the character from its past must be brought forward to grow a strong nation.

The references used in the story of America are some of this nation's best  non-conventional historians. The real truth seems to escape the conventional historian, who tends to be now-minded, instead of then-minded.  Many times the real truth is not discovered, until the accepted truth is challenged, as the historians studied on this website have done.

In the past, many books on the story of America have been penned by  single authors, but here, we study the writings of many different historians to understand more clearly the real story of America.

History is the indispensable teacher of the story of America.  The more we know about the struggles which make a nation, its great men who formed and led it, and the  principles  it used to survive and develop, deeper will be the feeling towards it.

History on the story of America stirs the emotions, feeds patriotism and our sense of the significance of life, and stimulates curiosity.

Hopefully, the readers of this website will come to fresh conclusions of the American Story, and greater love and respect for the greatest nation on earth.

In 1956, a collection of work from many great historians was bound together in one volume, The American Story, the main source of reference on this website.

The purpose of sharing the story of America from these non-conventional historian's view point  is to show people, especially the young, America's past, and how to stear America on its continued course of greatness.  It will be up to the youth of today, in the 21st Centruy, to overcome the storms that are before them as our forefathers have so bravely done. Americans have a way of breading greatness, and today's generation should be no exception. May God bless the reading of this material, and may God continue to bless America.
